Terms of service

Last updated 2 October 2026. These terms cover your use of Send Verified — the website, the dashboard and the API. By creating an account you agree to them.

1. What Send Verified does

Send Verified checks whether email addresses are likely to accept mail. For each address we check its format, look up its domain’s mail servers, and ask the receiving server whether it would accept mail for the address — then end the conversation before any message is sent. We never send email to the addresses you check.

Results describe what a receiving server said at the time of the check. Mail servers change, and some refuse to give a clear answer, so we can’t guarantee that a “Safe” address will receive your mail, or that an “Invalid” one would never have worked.

2. Your account

3. Acceptable use

Only verify addresses you have a lawful reason to hold and contact, such as people who signed up with you or customers you already deal with. You must not use Send Verified to:

We may pause or close accounts that break these rules. Credits on an account closed for abuse are not refunded.

4. Credits and payments

5. Your data

You keep all rights to the lists you upload. We use them only to run your checks. Uploaded files and their results are deleted 90 days after a task finishes. Our Privacy policy explains what we collect and why.

6. The API

API keys are for your own applications. The current limit is 600 requests a minute per key; we may change limits to keep the service healthy and will show them on the API page.

7. Availability and liability

We work to keep Send Verified running and accurate, but it is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or the results of sending to (or not sending to) any address. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before it arose.

8. Ending your account

You can stop using Send Verified at any time; write to us and we’ll close your account and delete your data. We may close accounts that break these terms, giving notice where we reasonably can.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we’ll tell you by email or in the dashboard before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.

10. Contact
